If you want to keep your pet healthy it is really important to have its teeth checked. Just like yourself, your animal needs to go the “dentist” regularly. A regular check (every two years) of your animal´s teeth is no unnecessary luxury.

When your dog or cat has a bad breath you can be sure it has a dental problem. Tartar is the most occurring but also abscesses, caries and loose teeth commonly appear.

To adequately solve these problems, your animal needs a full anaesthetic so that all teeth can be brushed thoroughly with an ultrasonic cleaner and loose teeth can be pulled.

With rabbits and guinea pigs the problem is mostly caused by bad tear and wear or abnormal growth of teeth. They also need to have their teeth checked if we want to keep them over a long period of time.
